Appointments
It is important that when your dog attends the salon it is fit and healthy, such as, free from known parasites like fleas, ticks and mites and fully up to date with their vaccinations.
On arrival for your appointment, please ensure that your dog has had a toilet break to ensure they are comfortable for their groom. Please arrive with your dog on a lead.
Appointments are based on the breed of the dog and your groom requirement. Expect visits to take anywhere between 2 and 4 hours, depending coat condition, dog breed and behaviour. Working one on one with your dog in a calm relaxed atmosphere is important as I like to get to know your dog and build a relationship, so they are perfectly at ease and enjoy their visits with me.
Notes and photographs will be take during the groom, about hair style, coat and skin condition, equipment and products used, medical history of your dogs and any behaviour problems. This is for future visits so I will know what works best for your dog.
Please arrive on time for your appointment due to time constraints, otherwise this can impact upon the next dogs arrival. If you are late there may not be enough time to carry out your dogs groom and I may have to cancel your appointment and re schedule and you will be charged the full groom price for the appointment.
I ask that you please collect your dog at the arranged collection time, I will aim to call you twenty minutes prior to the appointment so you can collect your dog. This is because I groom on a one to one bases and the dog on my grooming table deserves all my care and attention I don’t want lateness to impact on their time. There will be a £10 charge for every 15 late in collecting your dog.
Cancellation
I understand that situations arise in which you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I respectfully ask that you provide 48 hours notice so I can offer your appointment to another client.
Your time is valuable and mine is too. Missed appointment cost me money when I cannot fill the empty appointment slot and as a small business I cannot afford the cost.
Unfortunately if you cancel giving less than 24 hours notice or fail to show up for your appointment there will be a charge of the full grooming price of the missed appointment, to be paid before any further appointments can be booked.
